Job Title: Microbiology-Executive (Reviewer)

1. Overview: The Microbiology-Executive (Reviewer) plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of microbiological data within the organization. The primary objective of this position is to review and validate microbiological reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high standards of laboratory practices and will support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

2. Key Responsibilities:

• Review microbiological testing reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with laboratory staff to identify and troubleshoot any discrepancies or anomalies in test results.

• Ensure that documentation is complete and accurate in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Prepare and maintain detailed records of reviews, findings, and actions taken.

• Participate in internal audits and support regulatory inspections as required.

• Provide training and guidance to junior staff on microbiological testing and documentation practices.

• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to enhance quality assurance processes.

3. Technical Skills:

• Proficient in microbiological testing methodologies and laboratory techniques.

• Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance processes in a laboratory setting.

• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA) related to microbiological testing.

• Proficient in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and relevant software.

• Strong data analysis skills, including experience with statistical analysis tools.

4. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

• Relevant certifications in microbiology or quality assurance are highly desirable.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a microbiology lab, preferably in a review or quality control role.

5. Skills & Experience:

• Strong documentation skills, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

• Experience with IDOCS (Integrated Document Control System) for managing and reviewing documents.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
