To support our client, we are seeking Sr. Assurance Accountant who is CPA designated and has experience in public practice, particularly in assurance and private enterprise engagements.

Looking for a Senior Assurance Accountant with 3+ years of experience in public practice, particularly in assurance and private enterprise engagements. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment and is looking to deepen their professional expertise while growing within a firm that values your contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute assurance engagements (Review and Audit)

• Prepare compilation engagements (NTRs), T1s, T2s, and related tax filings

• Work closely with Partners and Managers on complex assignments

• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality client service

• Identify and address client queries in a timely and professional manner

• Support training and development of junior staff

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with firm and professional standards

What You Bring:

• CPA designation completed or CFE passed and nearing designation

• 3+ years of experience in assurance within a Canadian CPA firm

• Strong knowledge of ASPE, audit procedures, and tax compliance

• Proficiency in CaseWare, TaxCycle, Jazzit, and QuickBooks

• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

• Team-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

• Ability to work onsite in our Calgary office
