Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our software products
through rigorous testing processes. This role involves working closely with developers, product
managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues and ensure that our products meet the
highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design:
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and
meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Test Execution:
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Execute test cases (manual ) and analyze results.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
Bug Tracking and Reporting:
- Track and document all testing defects and resolutions.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams in a clear and concise manner.
- Work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that software meets the specified requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
- Review and analyze system specifications and provide feedback.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software
development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies to ensure the highest level of software quality.

Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar role.
- Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with black-box, white-box, and regression testing.
- Proficiency in using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications ::
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Familiarity with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
