About the role

Provide exceptional dining experiences by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring timely service. Support kitchen and front‑of‑house operations to maintain smooth service flow.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, present menus, and answer questions about specials.

• Accurately take and enter orders using POS systems.

• Set up and clear tables, ensuring cleanliness and proper tableware presentation.

• Handle cash and card transactions, reconcile till at shift end.

• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards throughout service.

• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to meet guest expectations.

• Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables and guest needs.

Required qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Proficiency with POS operations and cash handling.

• Excellent time‑management and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with bilingual service (e.g., English & Spanish).

• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale software upgrades.

• Previous exposure to a high‑volume dining setting.

• Basic knowledge of beverage service and wine pairing.
