About the role

We are looking for a Cashier Cum Customer Service Representative to handle transactions and provide frontline support to our customers. The role requires accurate cash handling, efficient use of POS systems, and strong communication skills to resolve issues on the spot.

Key responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately using POS equipment.

• Handle cash, credit, and debit payments while maintaining a balanced register.

• Assist customers with inquiries, returns, and exchanges in a courteous manner.

• Resolve customer complaints by troubleshooting and offering appropriate solutions.

• Maintain inventory of receipts and documentation for audit purposes.

• Adhere to store policies on cash handling, security, and compliance.

• Support team members during peak periods and manage time efficiently.

Required qualifications

• 0–3 years of retail or cashier experience.

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operation.

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.

• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage time and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with inventory management or stock replenishment.

• Basic math skills for quick cash reconciliation.

• Knowledge of store loyalty programs or promotions.
