About the Role
We are looking for three strong Analog & Mixed-Signal Hardware Engineers who can also operate as Project Engineers—owning the design, execution, validation, and cross-functional coordination of hardware development programs. The role requires hands-on expertise in analog circuits, mixed-signal PCBs, power supplies, SI/PI fundamentals, EMC considerations, and system-level debugging, similar to the capabilities demonstrated in the sample profile.
Engineers in this role must be comfortable driving projects independently while collaborating with global engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analog & Mixed-Signal Circuit Design
•Design and analyze analog front ends, signal conditioning blocks, op-amp circuits, ADC/DAC interfaces, sensor interfaces, and mixed-signal architectures — similar to experience demonstrated in high-reliability systems.
•Develop power supply topologies (buck/boost, flyback, LDOs, DC-DC converters) with attention to efficiency, stability, and EMI performance.
•Perform SPICE-based simulation, worst-case analysis, tolerance checks, and stability verification.
2. PCB Development
•Create schematics and mentor layout teams on critical routing (impedance control, return-path integrity, component placement).
•Apply SI/PI principles such as crosstalk control, decoupling strategy, IR drop, and power rail noise mitigation—aligned with practices seen in the sample resume.
3. Hardware Bring-Up, Debug & Validation
•Hands-on debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power analyzers, TDR, spectrum analyzers, etc.
•Conduct design verification, performance validation, and system-level integration tests.
•Drive compliance readiness for EMC/ESD, safety certifications, and regulatory requirements (UL/IEC/FCC).
4. Project Engineering Responsibilities
•Own design from requirements → architecture → design → verification → release.
•Coordinate with firmware, mechanical, global engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing teams.
•Prepare design documentation: HLD, DFMEA, FMEA, traceability matrix, verification plan, design review packs.
•Manage component obsolescence and PCB refresh programs (aligned with PCBA risk mitigation activities from the reference JD).
•Lead redesign efforts for supply-chain challenges, obsolete components, or cost optimization.
•Support vendors, manufacturing partners, and PCBA suppliers to close design gaps and ensure production readiness.
Required Technical Skills
•Strong expertise in analog and mixed-signal design—op-amps, filters, signal conditioning, ADC/DAC, sensor interfaces.
•Hands-on experience with Switch-Mode Power Supplies and DC-DC converter design (Flyback/Buck/Boost).
•Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (DDR, PHY) and mixed-signal board constraints (priors seen in resume).
•Solid understanding of SI/PI simulation tools (HyperLynx, CST, Sigrity, SiWave, SPICE).
•Knowledge of EMC/ESD design considerations and pre-compliance debugging.
•Proficiency with ECAD tools: Altium / OrCAD / Allegro.
•Strong lab debugging skills using oscilloscopes, analyzers, power measurement tools.
•Understanding of global regulatory standards (UL/IEC/FCC)—even if at working level.
Soft Skills & Project Ownership
•Ability to lead design tasks independently and ensure on-time delivery.
•Excellent documentation and review discipline.
•Strong cross-functional communication with global teams.
•Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
(Not mandatory but adds value)
•Exposure to SIL2/SIL3 safety design methods (as seen in sample resume).
•Familiarity with embedded systems basics (MCUs, interfaces).
•Experience working with certification labs (TUV, ARAI, Intertek etc.).
•Understanding of FPGA basics (HDL concepts).
Why This Role Is Unique
•Opportunity to work in complex analog/mixed-signal and power designs, not basic PCB design.
•Combines pure engineering with project ownership, giving candidates broader responsibility and visibility.
•First-come basis selection allows faster onboarding for strong profiles.
