  • Interpret approach plates and flight operations briefing materials and provide feedback on navigational and operational accuracy.

  • Provide detailed written and verbal explanations of aircraft maintenance and inspection procedures.

  • Cross-reference maintenance tasks against applicable FAA Parts 43, 121, 135, and 145 requirements.

  • Review and validate aviation maintenance datasets and technical scenarios for accuracy and real-world applicability.

  • Apply practical aviation maintenance experience to identify discrepancies, clarify technical requirements, and support accurate process representation.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, inspection, and regulatory compliance.

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate, Inspection Authorization (IA), or equivalent Part 145 inspector status strongly preferred.

  • Expertise in borescope engine inspection, including interpretation of inspection imagery and reports.

  • Strong ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, IPCs, and approach plates.

  • Thorough working knowledge of FAA Parts 43, 121, 135, and 145 and their practical application.

  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance inspection procedures and regulated aviation environments.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to document technical findings and rationale precisely.

Preferred Experience

Experience as a check airman or in aviation maintenance training, mentoring, or technical instruction is a plus.

  • Contractor engagement.

  • Remote work, with US-based professionals preferred.

  • $70–$130 per hour.

  • Annual compensation equivalent of $134,400–$249,600 based on 40 hours per week across 48 workable weeks. This is an annualized full-time equivalent and does not represent guaranteed annual earnings.

  • No prior AI experience is required.
