We are seeking a Research Marketing Lead to lead how research, benchmarks, evaluations, and technical work are positioned, launched, and adopted across the AI ecosystem.
You will work closely with research teams to turn complex technical work into high-impact launches that generate attention, adoption, citations, and engagement.
This role combines research marketing, technical marketing, go-to-market strategy, research quality, and industry partnerships. You will develop a deep understanding of research and methodology, shape positioning and narratives, establish a high standard for publication readiness, and build go-to-market strategies that connect research with researchers, developers, AI labs, and other technical audiences.
Own research go-to-market strategy from planning through launch and distribution.
Develop launch and distribution strategies for research, benchmarks, evaluations, and other technical work.
Establish the publication-readiness standard for research and benchmarks.
Partner with researchers to ensure methodologies, claims, results, and supporting materials are rigorous, clear, and defensible.
Develop clear and differentiated positioning for complex technical findings while maintaining technical accuracy and depth.
Identify high-impact research opportunities by monitoring emerging AI trends, open questions, competitive research, and the priorities of researchers and practitioners.
Shape research packaging and distribution, including research pages, benchmark releases, technical content, launch materials, and other assets.
Build relationships across the AI research ecosystem, including researchers, AI labs, developers, technical communities, and influential practitioners.
Drive adoption of research and benchmarks by identifying the audiences, communities, and channels most likely to use, reference, and build on the work.
Measure research impact through adoption, citations, engagement, usage, and qualitative feedback.
Create feedback loops between the market and research teams to inform future benchmarks, evaluations, and research priorities.
Experience marketing, launching, or driving adoption of technical research, AI/ML products, developer products, benchmarks, evaluations, or similarly complex technical work.
Strong track record developing and executing go-to-market strategies for technical audiences.
Ability to deeply understand technical work and translate it into clear, credible, and differentiated positioning.
Strong understanding of the AI/ML research ecosystem, including research trends, benchmarks, evaluations, and technical communities.
Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and broader audiences.
Strong analytical judgment and ability to evaluate whether technical claims, supporting evidence, and research materials are ready for external publication.
Experience building relationships with researchers, technical leaders, developers, or AI communities.
Strong ownership and ability to take ambiguous initiatives from strategy through execution.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to work closely with research teams while maintaining a high standard for technical accuracy and quality.
Background in AI, machine learning, computer science, or another technical field.
Experience at an AI lab, AI-native company, research organization, developer-focused company, or highly technical startup.
Experience working directly with research teams and technical leadership.
Familiarity with academic publishing, AI benchmarks, evaluations, citations, and research dissemination.
Experience launching technical content or research that achieved meaningful adoption, citations, community engagement, or industry impact.
