The annual compensation equivalent is calculated at 40 hours/week across 48 workable weeks/year and represents a full-time equivalent, not guaranteed earnings. The engagement is fully hourly and asynchronous, so actual earnings depend on the amount of work you choose to take on.

About the Role

We’re looking for experienced quantitative analysts and researchers to help evaluate and improve how AI systems handle advanced quantitative finance problems.

You’ll assess AI-generated quantitative analysis for mathematical and technical rigor, create expert demonstrations based on your own professional or research experience, and evaluate model responses against established quantitative practices.

The work may involve derivatives pricing, time-series analysis, portfolio construction, risk modeling, and other quantitative finance workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated quantitative analysis for mathematical accuracy and technical rigor.

• Review derivatives pricing, portfolio construction, time-series analysis, and risk modeling outputs.

• Create expert demonstrations based on quantitative workflows from your professional or research experience.

• Develop realistic quantitative finance scenarios that require sound mathematical and analytical reasoning.

• Rank and label AI-generated responses against quantitative best practices.

• Identify mathematical errors, flawed assumptions, inappropriate methodologies, and weaknesses in quantitative reasoning.

• Provide clear written explanations supporting your evaluations and assessments.

What We’re Looking For

• Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, quantitative finance, or a closely related field; equivalent professional experience may also qualify.

• At least 2 years of experience in quantitative research, quantitative trading, or risk modeling.

• Strong quantitative and mathematical reasoning skills.

• Professional fluency with Python, R, or C++ for quantitative analysis.

• Ability to evaluate complex quantitative work accurately and explain technical reasoning clearly.

• Strong attention to detail and independent professional judgment.

Preferred Experience

• Buy-side or sell-side quantitative experience, including work within:

  • Hedge funds

  • Proprietary trading firms

  • Investment banks

• CFA charter or FRM certification.

• Published quantitative research.

• Open-source quantitative finance or analytical projects.

• Experience with derivatives, financial modeling, portfolio analytics, market risk, or time-series modeling.
