We are seeking a proactive Mid-Level QA Engineer to join a fast-paced team building high-impact B2B SaaS solutions.
This role is designed for a quality professional who excels at balancing rigorous manual exploration with efficient automation. You will be a critical gatekeeper for product quality, working independently within an Agile environment to ensure that frequent deployments maintain the highest standards of reliability.
The ideal candidate is comfortable taking full ownership of the testing lifecycle, from analyzing GitHub pull requests to executing complex end-to-end scenarios. You should thrive in environments characterized by rapid release cycles and sophisticated third-party integrations, particularly within the logistics or supply chain domains.
Design, document, and execute comprehensive test plans covering manual, regression, and exploratory testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts, preferably using Playwright, to support a robust CI/CD pipeline.
Perform thorough API testing to ensure seamless communication between internal services and external integrations.
Review code and monitor GitHub pull requests to understand upcoming changes and identify potential edge cases early in the development cycle.
Provide clear, detailed, and actionable bug reports, collaborating closely with developers to resolve issues quickly.
Take initiative in identifying process improvements and leveraging modern AI tools to enhance testing efficiency.
3 to 6 years of professional experience in Software QA or Test Engineering, specifically within web-based SaaS environments.
Proven experience in manual, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies.
Hands-on experience writing automated tests, with Playwright strongly preferred, though Cypress or Selenium experience is acceptable.
Strong technical proficiency in API and end-to-end (E2E) testing.
The ability to read code and navigate GitHub to understand technical changes.
Exceptional written communication skills and a disciplined approach to documentation.
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently without needing granular direction.
Technical proficiency with Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript.
Familiarity with Ruby on Rails environments.
Experience testing products involving complex third-party integrations or feature flag management.
Domain expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), logistics, supply chain, or ERP software.
Practical experience using AI tools like Claude Code to streamline QA workflows.
The opportunity to own the QA process within a high-growth company moving at the speed of daily deployments.
A collaborative environment that values technical initiative and exploratory thinking.
Exposure to a modern tech stack and the latest in automated testing and AI-driven development tools.
A role where your contributions directly impact the reliability of mission-critical logistics software.
