About the Role

We are seeking experienced procurement and vendor management professionals to design realistic, challenging tasks that assess AI systems' ability to handle practical procurement decisions. You will translate real-world workflows into structured evaluation exercises with supporting documentation, clear instructions, and objective grading criteria.

The role emphasizes professional judgment in supplier selection, bid evaluation, contract assessment, vendor risk, and post-contract performance. Previous AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design multi-step procurement tasks based on realistic scenarios involving supplier assessment, bid comparisons, vendor risk analysis, and contract review.

• Create objective grading criteria that enable consistent evaluation by independent reviewers.

• Develop scenarios requiring interpretation, analysis, and professional judgment rather than simple information retrieval.

• Prepare or source supporting materials, including RFP responses, pricing schedules, contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and risk assessments.

• Build supplier evaluation scorecards, weighted bid criteria, vendor risk frameworks, and other structured assessment tools where relevant.

• Review tasks for ambiguity, missing information, and grading inconsistencies before submission.

• Deliver complete, high-quality tasks according to agreed deadlines and project specifications.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier assessment, or vendor management, with direct responsibility for the work.

• Experience creating or applying structured evaluation methods, such as supplier scorecards, weighted bid criteria, vendor risk frameworks, or category strategies.

• Ability to translate complex procurement workflows into clear, multi-step tasks with measurable evaluation criteria.

• Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail when reviewing supplier proposals, pricing, contractual terms, and risk information.

• Ability to work across contracts, spreadsheets, pricing schedules, and reports.

• Strong written and spoken English, with proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

• CIPS, CPSM, or an equivalent procurement certification.

• Experience developing procurement assessment frameworks or evaluating supplier performance.

• Familiarity with AI evaluation, large language model (LLM) assessment, or benchmark task design.

Compensation and Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote contract engagement, with compensation of up to $90 per hour equivalent. Tasks are expected to require approximately 10 hours each, depending on complexity.
