Compensation: $60–$120 per hour, paid per task
Time Commitment: Minimum 10 hours per week; 20+ hours preferred
Estimated Task Duration: Approximately 3 hours per task, following around 15 hours of initial environment development. Estimates include AI agent execution time.
We are seeking experienced management and strategy consultants to develop realistic consulting work environments and evaluate how effectively AI systems handle complex professional consulting assignments.
You will translate real client engagement workflows into structured scenarios supported by business data, reference documents, client context, and stakeholder requirements. Using agentic AI tools, you will develop business analyses, research syntheses, strategic recommendations, presentations, and other client-facing deliverables, then independently verify their quality.
This role requires substantial consulting experience, direct ownership of analytical workstreams, and hands-on proficiency with agentic AI tools. General chatbot use alone is insufficient.
Build realistic consulting environments incorporating client context, business data, reference materials, and stakeholder requirements.
Design multi-step tasks covering business analysis, strategy development, research synthesis, and executive decision-making.
Use agentic AI tools to develop analyses, presentations, recommendations, and supporting deliverables.
Create clear task instructions and objective evaluation criteria for assessing the quality of consulting outputs.
Independently review AI-generated work for analytical rigor, factual consistency, logical reasoning, and alignment with client requirements.
Ensure scenarios reflect realistic consulting challenges and require structured problem-solving rather than simple information retrieval.
Deliver high-quality task environments and professional deliverables that meet defined project requirements.
At least 5 years of professional experience in management consulting or strategy consulting.
Direct ownership of substantial consulting workstreams, analytical assignments, and client-facing deliverables.
Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Cowork for substantive professional work.
Strong business analysis, problem-solving, and strategic reasoning skills.
Ability to critically assess AI-generated analyses, validate conclusions, and identify gaps in logic or supporting evidence.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently on complex, multi-step assignments.
Experience at a top-tier management consulting firm.
Experience in commercial due diligence, transaction strategy, or corporate carve-outs.
Experience developing review standards, training junior consultants, or creating internal playbooks and methodologies.
Prior experience in AI evaluation, benchmark development, or structured task design.
Availability to commit 20 or more hours per week.
This is a remote contract opportunity, with candidates in the United States and Canada preferred, while candidates in the United Kingdom and Latin America are also considered.
