About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced litigation and disputes lawyers to help evaluate how effectively advanced AI systems answer real-world questions involving Australian law.

You will serve as an expert legal reviewer, comparing responses generated by two AI platforms and assessing their accuracy, legal reasoning, and quality against a standardized evaluation framework.

This is a specialized legal AI evaluation opportunity for practitioners with strong knowledge of Australian litigation and procedural law.

What You'll Do

• Run the same set of legal prompts across two AI platforms.

• Review and compare AI-generated responses side by side.

• Assess the accuracy, relevance, completeness, and legal reasoning of each response.

• Score each response against a standardized rubric.

• Provide concise, specific written feedback supporting each evaluation.

• Apply your professional legal judgment consistently across evaluation tasks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of law-firm or barristers' chambers experience in litigation, disputes, or contentious practice; 3+ years preferred.

• Current in-house lawyers may qualify only if they moved in-house within the past 2 years and previously practiced at a law firm or chambers.

• Qualified to practise law in Australia, with strong knowledge of Australian litigation and procedural law.

• Native or fluent English, with excellent written communication skills.

• Strong analytical and legal research abilities.

• Ability to distinguish accurate legal reasoning from flawed, incomplete, or unsupported analysis.

• Comfortable working independently against a defined rubric and meeting deadlines.

Project Details

• Initial commitment: Approximately 10 hours, with strong potential for additional work.

• Work arrangement: Fully remote with flexible scheduling.

• Confidentiality: All project work is covered by an NDA.

• Independent contractor engagement.

• Payments are made weekly based on services rendered.

• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance.

• H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not currently supported.
