We are seeking experienced legal and compliance professionals to design realistic, multi-step tasks that assess how effectively AI systems handle practical legal and regulatory work.
You will translate real-world legal workflows into structured assessment tasks supported by relevant documents, clear instructions, and objective grading criteria. The work focuses on contract review, due diligence, regulatory assessment, and risk analysis, including scenarios that require sound judgment when requirements conflict or source documents contain inconsistencies.
Prior AI experience is not required. Practical legal or compliance expertise and the ability to evaluate work consistently are the primary requirements.
Design multi-step assessment tasks based on real legal and compliance workflows, including contract review, due diligence, regulatory interpretation, and risk assessment.
Develop realistic scenarios that require professional judgment, careful document analysis, and resolution of conflicting requirements rather than simple information retrieval.
Create or source supporting materials, such as agreements, internal policies, regulatory texts, due diligence files, and compliance documentation.
Establish objective grading rubrics with clear criteria so that qualified reviewers can independently reach consistent conclusions.
Build tasks that assess issue identification, contractual analysis, regulatory application, risk prioritization, and consistency across multiple documents.
Review tasks for ambiguity, missing information, contradictory instructions, or grading criteria that could produce inconsistent results.
Deliver approved tasks on schedule and at the required quality level.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in contract review, due diligence, regulatory compliance, legal analysis, risk management, or a closely related field.
Direct responsibility for performing or owning substantive legal or compliance work, rather than exclusively supervisory experience or indirect exposure.
Experience creating or applying structured review standards, such as contract review checklists, due diligence protocols, compliance frameworks, legal playbooks, or training assessments.
Strong ability to analyze multiple documents, identify inconsistencies, and assess how contractual terms, policies, regulations, or other requirements interact.
Excellent analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex legal workflows into clearly defined, assessable tasks.
Strong written and spoken English, with proficiency at B2 level or higher.
A law degree and bar admission, or an equivalent compliance qualification.
Experience developing legal review standards, compliance assessment frameworks, or structured risk evaluation criteria.
Familiarity with AI evaluation, large language model (LLM) testing, or benchmark task design.
Formal legal credentials are advantageous but not mandatory; demonstrated practitioner experience is the priority.
This is a fully remote, global contract opportunity with project-based compensation of up to $90 per hour equivalent. Each task is estimated to require approximately 10 hours, and payment is based on approved tasks. Actual task duration may vary depending on complexity and requirements.
Submit an application and complete the screening questions.
Complete the role-specific AI interview to demonstrate your legal and compliance expertise.
Undergo profile review.
Complete onboarding before beginning assigned work.
