Indonesian Bilingual Expert - Remote

Role Overview

Support a large-scale language and AI training initiative by evaluating AI-generated Indonesian speech. You will use your native-level Indonesian proficiency to assess linguistic quality, cultural appropriateness, and naturalness, helping improve how AI systems understand and generate Indonesian.

No prior AI experience is required.

Compensation: $30–$65 per hour
Work Arrangement: Remote, contract

Responsibilities

• Review audio clips and evaluate the fluency and naturalness of AI-generated Indonesian speech.

• Assess language accuracy, pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity.

• Evaluate whether expressions are culturally and contextually appropriate, including relevant regional language nuances.

• Provide clear, constructive written and verbal feedback on language quality and communication style.

• Document findings with specific, actionable observations that can support model improvement.

• Collaborate with project coordinators to discuss evaluation results and clarify guidelines.

• Share linguistically informed suggestions to help refine evaluation frameworks.

• Complete assessments accurately and within project timelines.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Indonesian, including a strong understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and an analytical, methodical approach to language evaluation.

• Ability to identify subtle differences in language use and explain them clearly.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Experience in translation, localization, linguistics, content moderation, or language quality assessment is an advantage, but not required.
