Compensation: $90–$150/hour ($187,200–$312,000 annualized, based on 40 hours/week)
We are seeking experienced In-House Counsel professionals for a part-time opportunity at the intersection of legal practice and AI.
You will apply your legal expertise to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems used in real-world legal work. The role is particularly suited to lawyers with substantial experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining technology-related contracts.
Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback to improve accuracy and performance.
Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for assessing AI performance on contract-related tasks.
Collaborate with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.
3+ years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.
Strong experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback.
Demonstrated interest in the intersection of law and technology.
Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
Work arrangement: Fully remote.
Engagement: Independent contractor.
Schedule: Part-time.
Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance.
