Role Overview

This remote contractor role involves evaluating Hindi audio content to support the development of machine learning and AI systems. You will assess the naturalness, fluency, pronunciation, and linguistic authenticity of spoken Hindi, providing clear and detailed feedback to help improve AI language understanding and generation.

No prior AI experience is required. Your Hindi language expertise is the primary qualification.

Compensation

$30–$65 per hour

Responsibilities

• Listen to Hindi audio clips and evaluate the speaker’s or model’s nativeness and fluency.

• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity against established guidelines.

• Document evaluations in clear, concise English, identifying relevant linguistic factors.

• Provide detailed justifications to support consistent and accurate assessments.

• Coordinate with project teams to clarify requirements or resolve ambiguities in language content.

• Share insights that contribute to improved Hindi language understanding and generation in AI systems.

• Complete assigned audio review tasks accurately and on time while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Hindi, with natural fluency and clear enunciation.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, particularly for written and verbal communication.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize nuanced linguistic differences.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and follow evaluation guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment.

• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching.
