This contract role is focused on reviewing and annotating video sessions of robotic arms completing real-world tasks. It is an AI training and video annotation project rather than a traditional game development assignment.
Your experience breaking complex gameplay and interactive behavior into actions, states, interactions, and outcomes is directly relevant. You will apply systems thinking and visual reasoning to identify what is happening in each video, label key events consistently, and help produce high-quality training data.
No prior experience in AI, robotics, or data annotation is required.
Review video footage of robotic arms performing tasks using detailed annotation and grading guidelines.
Identify and label actions, object interactions, state changes, task outcomes, errors, and other relevant events within video segments.
Apply knowledge of action sequences, system states, interactions, cause and effect, and success or failure conditions to interpret robotic behavior accurately.
Use dedicated video annotation tools to tag content precisely and consistently.
Flag unclear or ambiguous moments and document your reasoning in concise written notes.
Review annotations and provide constructive feedback as part of quality control.
Complete assigned batches accurately and within established deadlines.
Professional or academic background in game design, gameplay development, technical game design, game QA, or a related field.
Strong understanding of action sequences, object states, interactions, rules, and cause-and-effect relationships.
Experience reviewing, testing, debugging, or documenting gameplay behavior.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to apply consistent criteria across repetitive visual tasks.
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to explain observations and edge cases clearly.
