Finance Expert – US Based

Location: Remote — United States
Job Type: Contractor
Hours: 10–30 hours per week
Duration: Approximately 1 month, with potential extension
Compensation: Approximately $100+/hour, depending on experience

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for experienced finance professionals to help improve the performance of advanced AI models.

You’ll work alongside AI researchers to evaluate model capabilities across areas of finance, develop evaluation criteria, and contribute expert knowledge to AI training and benchmarking.

No prior AI experience is required.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate AI models on complex finance-related tasks.

• Identify areas where models perform well and where improvements are needed.

• Create rubrics for assessing AI performance within your area of expertise.

• Evaluate tasks such as investment analysis, deal analysis, M&A assessments, forecasting, and other finance-related problems.

• Collaborate with AI researchers and other finance experts.

• Contribute to training approaches, evaluation strategies, and performance benchmarks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following:

  • Capital Markets

  • Portfolio Management

  • Financial Research

  • Trading

  • Quantitative Finance

  • Investment Banking

  • Private Equity

  • Venture Capital

  • Growth Equity

  • FP&A

  • Accounting

  • Financial Consulting

• Strong understanding of financial concepts relevant to your area of expertise.

• Experience with areas such as investment analysis, financial research, forecasting, revenue modeling, corporate finance, asset management, or risk management.

• Excellent written English.

• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to analyze complex problems and provide clear, well-reasoned judgments.

Nice to Have

The following are beneficial but not required:

• CFA Level I, II, or III

• CA/CPA

• MBA with a finance focus

• Previous experience working with AI or LLMs
