We are seeking experienced finance and accounting professionals to design realistic, multi-step tasks that evaluate how effectively AI systems handle practical financial analysis and accounting work.
You will translate real-world finance workflows into structured assessment tasks with realistic reference materials, clear instructions, and objective grading criteria. The work spans financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial reporting, audit procedures, reconciliations, and error diagnosis. Tasks should assess professional judgment, accurate interpretation of financial data, and the ability to resolve discrepancies across multiple documents.
Prior AI experience is not required. Your practical finance or accounting expertise and ability to assess work consistently are the primary requirements.
Design multi-step assessment tasks based on real finance and accounting workflows, including FP&A analysis, financial reporting, audit procedures, and account reconciliations.
Create scenarios that require financial judgment, error diagnosis, and careful interpretation of source materials rather than simple information retrieval.
Prepare or source supporting documentation, including spreadsheets, general ledger (GL) extracts, financial statements, and accounting policy documents.
Define objective grading rubrics with clear criteria so that qualified reviewers can independently reach consistent conclusions.
Develop tasks that assess reconciliation accuracy, reporting integrity, analytical reasoning, and the ability to identify inconsistencies in financial data.
Review tasks for ambiguity, missing information, conflicting figures, or grading criteria that could lead to inconsistent evaluations.
Deliver approved tasks on schedule and at the required quality level.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, reconciliations, accounting, or a closely related function.
Direct responsibility for performing or owning substantive finance and accounting work, rather than exclusively supervisory experience or indirect exposure.
Experience creating or applying structured review standards, such as audit programs, financial review checklists, month-end close checklists, grading rubrics, or training assessments.
Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze information across multiple spreadsheets, reports, and financial documents.
Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex financial workflows into clearly defined, objectively assessable tasks.
Strong written English, with proficiency at B2 advanced or C1 level or higher.
A professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent credential.
Experience developing financial review procedures, accounting quality controls, or structured assessment frameworks.
Familiarity with AI evaluation, large language model (LLM) testing, or benchmark task design.
Professional certification and AI evaluation experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
This is a fully remote contract opportunity with no geographic restrictions. Compensation is up to $90 per hour equivalent, with each task estimated to require approximately 10 hours. Payment is based on approved tasks, and actual task duration may vary depending on complexity and requirements.
Submit an application and complete the screening questions.
Complete the role-specific AI interview to demonstrate your finance and accounting expertise.
Undergo profile review.
Complete onboarding before beginning assigned work.
