About the Opportunity

We are looking for native English speakers from Ireland, Australia, and the United Kingdom to contribute to an AI training project centered on English audio evaluation.

The role involves applying practical knowledge of regional accents, pronunciation, fluency, tone, and natural speech to assess recordings and identify whether spoken English accurately reflects the intended accent or region.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and assess short English audio recordings.

• Determine whether speech sounds natural and native to the intended regional accent.

• Evaluate pronunciation, accent characteristics, fluency, tone, and overall speech patterns.

• Identify inconsistencies or elements that sound unnatural.

• Provide clear, structured feedback explaining observations from each evaluation.

• Apply project guidelines consistently when reviewing recordings.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the work.

Required Qualifications

• Native-level English proficiency and strong familiarity with your native or regional accent.

• Strong knowledge of pronunciation and natural spoken-English patterns.

• Excellent listening and analytical abilities.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate observations clearly in written English.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a voice coach, voice-over professional, or speech analyst.

• Background in music, audio engineering, or sound production.

• Education or professional experience in linguistics, phonetics, language teaching, media, or communications.

• Previous experience analyzing or evaluating speech or audio recordings.
