Job Overview

We are seeking Customer Service Experts to support a customer-driven project providing phone-based support across the United States.

In this role, you will represent customers during live phone calls, communicating with businesses and service providers to complete everyday tasks such as reservations, appointment scheduling, confirmations, and information requests.

You will use your customer service and communication expertise to contribute to an AI training project focused on improving how next-generation AI systems learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world interactions.

No prior AI experience is required. Your customer service expertise, communication skills, and ability to handle live conversations professionally are what matter most.

As an independent contractor, you will work remotely and must be comfortable handling consecutive phone interactions while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Place and receive phone calls on behalf of customers to complete tasks such as reservations, appointment scheduling, and vendor confirmations.

  • Communicate directly with businesses, service providers, and other organizations in the United States.

  • Clearly explain customer requests and gather the information required to complete each task.

  • Navigate automated phone systems, phone menus, hold queues, and call center processes efficiently.

  • Identify and reach the appropriate contact or department for each customer request.

  • Handle a variety of customer needs across multiple consecutive calls.

  • Document call outcomes, relevant information, and important details accurately after each interaction.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling customer information and call-related details.

  • Adapt to different conversations, businesses, service providers, and customer requests.

  • Collaborate with other remote professionals to maintain a consistent and high-quality customer service experience.

  • Communicate professionally and exercise sound judgment during live customer interactions.

  • Remain proactive and responsive throughout scheduled working hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, phone support, executive assistance, virtual assistance, concierge services, or similar roles.

  • Fluent, clear, and neutral spoken English suitable for professional interactions with US-based businesses and service providers.

  • Strong live communication and improvisational conversation skills.

  • Confidence handling outbound calls, including cold calls when required.

  • Ability to navigate automated phone systems and call center menus efficiently.

  • Strong listening and comprehension skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail when documenting call outcomes and customer information.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple consecutive tasks.

  • Experience in hospitality, restaurants, travel, reservations, or appointment-based services is advantageous.

  • Experience with negotiation, escalation, or resolving customer issues is a plus.

  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.

  • Quiet and professional work environment suitable for making phone calls.

  • Quality wired or USB headset.

  • Ability to maintain consistent availability and responsiveness throughout scheduled shifts.
