About the Opportunity

We are seeking Child Development Psychologists with doctoral-level expertise to contribute to a project at the intersection of psychology and technology.

You will apply your expertise in child development and developmental psychology to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality evaluation, annotation, scenario analysis, and expert feedback. Prior AI experience is not required.

The opportunity is particularly suited to professionals with research or academic experience in child development or developmental psychology, with or without direct clinical experience.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate, review, and annotate datasets relevant to child development and developmental psychology for AI system training.

• Assess data and model outputs for accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and developmental relevance.

• Provide expert analysis for scenarios, test cases, and real-world situations involving children's learning and behavior.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to inform model improvements and maintain psychological integrity in AI interactions.

• Create and refine guidelines addressing the linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of child development across diverse backgrounds.

• Document findings and recommendations clearly and thoroughly to support ongoing AI research and development.

Requirements

• PhD in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated expertise or involvement in child development or developmental psychology.

• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

• Ability to evaluate scenarios and data for developmental relevance and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently on remote digital platforms while collaborating with a distributed, interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with technology-driven, digital, or AI-focused projects relevant to child development.

• Research or academic background related to child development or developmental psychology.

• Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is prioritized:
