Overview:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) / Account Manager (AM) - Sales role aims to drive the growth of our sales operations by identifying new business opportunities and managing existing client relationships. The position focuses on enhancing revenue growth in the electrical solutions sector, with a particular emphasis on products related to batteries, inverters, UPS systems, and power solutions. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in fostering strategic partnerships and finding innovative ways to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the electrical solutions market.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to determine potential sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to the target audience.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to provide customized solutions to clients.
  • Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance to improve sales strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipelines, and outcomes for management review.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to represent the company and expand the customer base.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Familiarity with sales analytics tools and reporting software.
  • Understanding of electrical systems and solution offerings, particularly related to batteries, inverters, UPS, and power solutions.
  • Ability to read technical documentation and drawings related to electrical products.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in sales, business development, or electrical engineering are a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a sales-oriented role, preferably in the electrical or power solutions industry.

Skills & Experience:

  • Solid understanding of electrical systems and products, specifically focused on battery technology, inverters, UPS systems, and overall power solutions.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals successfully.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and aptitude for technical discussions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
