Position Overview

Ekaggata is looking for a skilled and motivated Java Backend Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, writing clean and efficient code, and contributing to high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices

• Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions

• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability

• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve development standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in Java Backend Development

• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

• Knowledge of coding standards, design patterns, and best practices

Good to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins

• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker

• Basic understanding of DevOps practices
