Role Objective

To ensure accurate, timely, and quality-controlled order dispatch by effectively coordinating kitchen and delivery operations, maintaining packaging standards, minimizing delays and errors, and optimizing rider turnaround time to deliver an excellent customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

1. Dispatch & Operations Management

  • Oversee daily dispatch operations and monitor kitchen-dispatch coordination

  • Ensure proper KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket) flow and order accuracy

  • Maintain dispatch timelines and control Kitchen Process Time (KPT) below target

  • Handle bulk orders ensuring timely delivery and quality

2. Packaging & Quality Control

  • Supervise item-wise packaging and ensure correct condiments are included

  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the dispatch area

  • Ensure strict adherence to Veg/Non-Veg SOPs to avoid mix-ups

3. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor stock availability (Available/Not Available updates)

  • Manage ordering of packaging materials, gas, and other essentials

  • Track receiving and report shortages or discrepancies

  • Control wastage and food cost

4. Team Management & Training

  • Conduct daily briefings and team meetings

  • Train staff on SOPs, hygiene standards, and dispatch accuracy

  • Manage staff scheduling, hiring, and attrition

  • Address team issues and maintain discipline

5. Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain daily checklists and operational reports

  • Prepare daily sales reports and track collections

  • Follow up on pending payments

  • Ensure outlet cleanliness and maintenance standards

6. Process Improvement & Coordination

  • Support new product implementation (NPI) and promotional activities

  • Identify process gaps and suggest improvements

  • Coordinate with kitchen, delivery staff, and management teams


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of dispatch operations and order management

  • Understanding of KOT, KPT, and restaurant KPIs

  • Inventory and stock management skills

  • Team handling and leadership ability

  • Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards

  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills


Preferred Background

  • Experience in QSR / Restaurant / Food Delivery Operations

  • Prior experience as Dispatch Manager / Shift Manager / Operations Supervisor
