Job Title: Manager – IT & Digital Transformation Leads
Location: Mumbai Experience: 8–10 Years
Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile IT professional to lead our digital evolution. This is not a traditional "support" role; you will be the architect of our technology stack. Your primary mission is to evaluate, implement, and optimize a new ERP system for our cargo and transport operations. Beyond the ERP, you will leverage AI tools (like Claude) and basic coding to build custom internal tools that automate workflows and provide data-driven insights for business growth.
Key Responsibilities
· ERP Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end process of transitioning to a modern ERP. This includes identifying business requirements, evaluating vendors, managing the migration of legacy data, and ensuring a successful "go-live."
· Business Process Mapping: Work closely with the operations team to document current workflows (cargo tracking, fleet management, billing) and translate them into efficient digital processes within the ERP.
· AI & Automation: Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to build and maintain lightweight, custom tools that integrate with our ERP or simplify daily operations.
· Data Analysis & Reporting: Write basic scripts (Python/SQL) or use BI tools to extract data from the ERP, creating dashboards that track KPIs, revenue targets, and operational bottlenecks.
· Internal Tech Champion: Train the team (70-80 users) on new systems, moving communication and tracking away from informal channels like WhatsApp into organized, ticket-based workflows.
· Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for the ERP vendor, third-party consultants and ensure alignment with various departments. Report directly to the Board/Management on project milestones, budget adherence, and risk mitigation.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Experience: 8–10 years in IT roles, with at least 3–4 years specifically focused on ERP implementation or management (ideally in Logistics, Transport, or Supply Chain).
· Technical Savvy: Proficiency in at least one coding language (Python preferred) and a strong understanding of database management (SQL).
· Experience with API integrations, Cloud Infrastructure and Webhooks
· Process Mindset: Proven ability to look at a messy real-world process and "map" it into a structured software environment.
· Communication: Excellent ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (including senior management).
