Business Analyst.

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team working on a European Commission project in the Social Security domain. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional experts, and technical teams to analyse needs and deliver clear functional specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and document business processes, requirements, and functional needs.

• Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder meetings to elicit requirements.

• Produce Business Requirements Documents, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Model AS‑IS and TO‑BE processes using BPMN or equivalent techniques.

• Support solution design, validation and User Acceptance Testing, including test scenario creation.

• Maintain requirements traceability and manage change impact throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate communication between business and technical teams and prepare project documentation and presentations.

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.

• Strong domain knowledge of Social Security, benefits, entitlements and related public‑sector services.

• Proven experience in requirements engineering, functional analysis and process modelling (BPMN).

• Hands‑on experience with UAT, test scenario development and validation.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and analytical problem‑solving skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or hybrid project environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with European Commission or EU public‑sector projects.

• Familiarity with EU Social Security Coordination regulations and cross‑border processes.

• Knowledge of tools such as UML, Jira, Confluence and multilingual team collaboration.
