Job Description
🔍 Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to take ownership of global accounting operations and financial forecasting across multiple functions—revenue, cost of goods sold, variances, capital expenditures, and R&D. This role blends leadership, systems thinking, and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, globally integrated environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the global standard cost system, including variance analysis and operational support
Partner with international teams to drive the annual cost update and manage global finance alignment
Own the forecasting and budgeting process for manufacturing variances, department spending, CapEx, and R&D Opex using Adaptive Insights
Supervise and develop a high-performing team while collaborating with international accounting partners
Oversee the month-end close process for revenue, cost of sales, and margin-related components
Manage direct and distributor customer agreements, including ship & debit and rebate processes
Improve and automate processes within Oracle and other financial systems; drive cross-functional IT/finance projects
Support AR, collections, and credit limits for global operations
Implement and oversee compliance with new accounting standards and reporting requirements
Lead quarterly reviews and annual audits in collaboration with external auditors
Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation and testing requirements are met
Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects
📌 Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 5+ years of relevant experience
Public accounting experience (2+ years) is a strong plus
Expertise in U.S. GAAP and experience in semiconductor or manufacturing environments preferred
Proven experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and operational finance
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
Proficiency with Oracle (or similar ERP) and advanced Excel skills
CPA or MBA a plus
Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills; able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
Self-motivated, collaborative, and adaptable to change in a global setting
