We are seeking licensed veterinarians to contribute professional veterinary expertise to the evaluation and improvement of advanced artificial intelligence systems.
In this role, you will create realistic veterinary clinical scenarios and assess AI-generated responses for diagnostic accuracy, clinical reasoning, medication safety, and appropriate scope of practice. Your expertise will help establish high-quality standards for evaluating how AI systems handle real-world veterinary medicine.
This is a professional expert role—not an annotation or data-entry position.
Develop realistic veterinary case scenarios across species, from clinical presentation through assessment and treatment planning.
Write reference answers that demonstrate appropriate veterinary reasoning, including differential diagnosis, pharmacology, dosing considerations, and clinical decision-making.
Evaluate AI-generated veterinary responses for diagnostic accuracy, clinical relevance, toxicity awareness, and patient safety.
Identify inaccurate, fabricated, unsafe, or out-of-scope veterinary guidance and clearly explain the clinical reasoning behind your assessment.
Apply your practical veterinary experience to help distinguish appropriate clinical guidance from responses that could create safety concerns.
This opportunity is suited to practicing veterinarians with strong clinical reasoning and experience applying veterinary medicine in real-world settings.
Relevant backgrounds include:
Small-animal veterinary practice
Large-animal veterinary practice
Mixed-animal practice
Veterinary clinical medicine with substantial pharmacology and treatment-planning experience
DVM or VMD degree.
Active, unencumbered veterinary license in the United States.
At least 2 years of professional clinical practice.
Demonstrated depth in small-animal, large-animal, or mixed veterinary practice.
Strong understanding of veterinary pharmacology, medication safety, and dosing.
Ability to communicate clinical reasoning clearly in written English.
Ability to commit to at least 10 hours per week.
The following experience is beneficial:
Board certification or residency training, including ACVIM, ACVECC, or ACVS.
Emergency and critical care caseload experience.
Exotic animal medicine.
Equine medicine.
Production-animal medicine.
Fully remote.
Fully asynchronous.
Independent contractor engagement.
No fixed schedule or maximum weekly hours.
Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week.
Hours can be scaled up or down based on your availability and project needs.
No on-call responsibilities or emergency clinical work.
No screen recording, keystroke monitoring, or idle-time tracking.
Ongoing project opportunities rather than a single short-term task batch.
Weekly payment via Stripe.
Submit your application with your resume and a few structured questions.
Resume review based on the role's qualification criteria.
Written assessment may be requested as part of the evaluation process.
Onboarding includes contractor documentation, payment setup, and platform access.
Project matching typically occurs within approximately one week of onboarding.
Earn $95–$145/hour for specialized veterinary expertise.
Work remotely with a flexible, asynchronous schedule.
Apply your veterinary clinical reasoning to advanced AI evaluation.
Help improve how AI systems handle animal health and veterinary medicine.
Work on ongoing projects where you can set your weekly availability.
Contribute professional judgment rather than performing routine annotation work.
This is an independent contractor opportunity. Project availability and weekly hours may vary, allowing you to adjust your participation according to your schedule and available work.
Compensation: $95–$145/hour
Annualized equivalent: $197,600–$301,600 based on 40 hours/week for 52 weeks
Work mode: Fully remote
