We’re seeking experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to apply their prehospital care expertise to the evaluation and improvement of advanced AI systems.
You’ll develop realistic emergency medical scenarios and assess AI-generated responses for patient assessment, BLS protocols, clinical decision-making, scene safety, and appropriate handoff procedures.
This is expert-level evaluation work for experienced EMS professionals—not routine data annotation.
Develop realistic prehospital scenarios spanning dispatch, patient assessment, treatment, transport, and handoff.
Create reference answers that explain the field reasoning behind appropriate protocol and treatment decisions.
Evaluate AI-generated responses for clinical and protocol accuracy.
Identify recommendations that may appear appropriate but could create safety risks in a real emergency setting.
Document your reasoning clearly enough for other EMS professionals to understand and evaluate.
This opportunity is suited to experienced EMTs with strong field experience and practical knowledge of emergency medical services.
Relevant expertise includes:
Prehospital emergency care
Patient assessment
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Scene management
Emergency response
EMS protocols
Patient handoff and transport
911 or interfacility EMS operations
NREMT certification with an active state EMT license.
At least 2 years of field experience with a 911 or interfacility EMS service.
Strong knowledge of patient assessment, BLS protocols, and scene management.
Ability to clearly document clinical assessments, treatment decisions, and handoff reasoning in written English.
Availability to contribute at least 10 hours per week.
Experience working in a high-call-volume urban EMS system.
Field Training Officer (FTO) experience.
EMS continuing education or instructor experience.
AEMT certification.
Current enrollment in paramedic education.
Fully remote and asynchronous.
Independent contractor engagement.
Minimum 10 hours per week with no stated maximum.
Flexible weekly workload based on your availability and project needs.
No screen recording, keystroke monitoring, or idle-time tracking.
Ongoing project opportunities rather than isolated task batches.
Apply with your resume and structured questions.
Resume review against the role requirements.
Written assessment, if required for project placement.
Onboarding and contractor setup.
Project matching based on your EMS experience and expertise.
Earn $40–$65/hour based on experience.
Work remotely with a flexible, asynchronous schedule.
Apply your EMS expertise to advanced AI evaluation.
Help improve how AI systems reason about emergency response and prehospital care.
Contribute to realistic scenarios where clinical judgment, protocol accuracy, and scene safety are critical.
Set your weekly availability around your existing professional commitments.
Compensation: $40–$65/hour
Annualized equivalent: $83,200–$135,200 based on 40 hours/week × 52 weeks
