We’re looking for experienced Biostatisticians to contribute to an advanced AI benchmarking project. You’ll apply your expertise in biostatistics, clinical research, and statistical methodology to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems.
No prior AI experience is required. Your domain expertise is what matters.
The work involves designing expert-level evaluation tasks based on real-world biostatistics challenges, including clinical trial analysis, regulatory submission reviews, and observational study assessments. Tasks should reflect the complexity and depth of professional biostatistics practice rather than simplified or textbook-style examples.
Design and author expert-level evaluation tasks that simulate real-world biostatistics challenges.
Develop scenarios involving areas such as clinical trial analysis, regulatory submission reviews, and observational study assessments.
Source, construct, and curate authentic datasets, including trial data, patient records, and protocol documents for task use.
Define appropriate methodological solutions and defensible clinical interpretations for each evaluation scenario.
Develop comprehensive 35+ item evaluation rubrics to assess AI agent performance in methodological rigor and clinical reasoning.
Ensure evaluation tasks reflect the complexity, nuance, and depth of real-world biostatistics practice.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure deliverables align with applicable regulatory and scientific standards.
MS or PhD in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or a closely related field.
4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, contract research, hospital, or academic medical environments.
Demonstrated command of clinical study design, regulatory documentation, and observational research methodologies.
Advanced proficiency in R, Python, SAS, or Stata applied to real clinical or epidemiological datasets.
Strong attention to methodological detail, clinical interpretation, and regulatory sensitivity.
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to author detailed grading rubrics and technical documentation.
Experience preparing submission-ready deliverables for regulatory agencies such as the FDA or EMA.
This is a remote contractor opportunity with output-based compensation. Experts are paid per task that meets project specifications. The time required to complete work may vary depending on experience and workflow.
Minimum submission requirements apply, including a minimum number of tasks per week.
Roles are typically filled within 48 hours. Selected experts should be prepared to begin their first tasks within 24–48 hours after completing onboarding.
