About the Role
• As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will own the recruitment lifecycle for assigned mandates—from understanding clients, their requirements, identifying (sourcing) talent to screening and shortlisting candidates and coordinating interviews.
• This is a target-driven, performance-oriented role where success is measured by the quality and speed of candidate delivery rather than just activity.

Responsibilities
Understand Clients & their Requirements:
• Do thorough research on the client; Their history, geography, their product and services, their head count and turnover, their competition. To be able to identify the talent pool and pitch the client to the candidate. Study Job Descriptions and understand hiring requirements. Identify mandatory skills, preferred experience, and target industries. Develop sourcing strategies for each hiring mandate.
Candidate Sourcing & Market Mapping
• Source candidates using LinkedIn, job portals, databases, referrals, Boolean searches, and networking platforms. Conduct company and talent mapping to identify candidates from target organizations. Build quality candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Continuously research industries, competitors, and emerging talent trends.
Candidate Engagement
• Reach out to prospective candidates through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other professional channels. Present opportunities effectively and generate candidate interest. Build long-term relationships with professionals across industries. Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Candidate Screening & Assessment
• Conduct structured screening interviews to evaluate technical fit, functional expertise, career aspirations, communication skills, and cultural fit. Assess compensation expectations, notice periods, relocation preferences, and motivation for change. Prepare comprehensive candidate summaries for client submission.
Recruitment Process Management
• Coordinate interviews between clients and candidates. Track candidate movement across recruitment stages. Follow up regularly with both clients and candidates. Ensure timely closure of hiring assignments.
Database Management & Documentation
• Maintain an organized candidate database. Update recruitment trackers and CRM accurately. Ensure all candidate interactions and feedback are documented.
Research & Continuous Learning:
• Successful recruiters never stop learning.
• You will be expected to: Understand different industries and business models. Learn organizational structures and career progressions. Stay updated on hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and talent movements. Regularly improve sourcing techniques and recruitment strategies.
Leverage AI to Improve Productivity
AI is becoming an essential productivity tool for recruiters. You will be encouraged to use AI responsibly for:
• Creating Boolean search strings. Drafting candidate outreach messages. Summarizing resumes. Preparing candidate profiles. Researching companies and industries. Generating interview questions. Writing professional emails. Improving communication quality. Organizing research and market insights. The recruiter should view AI as an assistant that enhances productivity—not as a replacement for judgment or relationship building.
Take Ownership of Results
• Successful recruiters: Take complete ownership of assigned mandates. Proactively solve sourcing challenges. Follow up consistently. Manage priorities effectively while working remotely. Deliver high-quality candidates within agreed timelines.
Targets / Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Performance will be measured on both activity and delivery.
Weekly KPIs
• Source 250-300 relevant candidates
• Conduct 75-100 screening calls
• Submit 25-30 qualified profiles to clients
• Maintain 100% updated recruitment tracker
• Achieve timely follow-ups on all active candidates

• MBA or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Marketing, or related disciplines. Prior recruitment or sales experience. Familiarity with LinkedIn sourcing. Basic understanding of Boolean search. Experience using ChatGPT or other AI tools productively. Knowledge of FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, Technology, or Consumer industries. Experience using an ATS or recruitment CRM.
