Civil Engineer - Maldives (Relocation Required)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in the Maldives. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with 4 to 6 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be proficient in quantity surveying and preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to exciting projects in a beautiful island setting. Relocation to the Maldives is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage civil engineering projects in the Maldives.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

• Prepare and review construction drawings and technical documents.

• Perform quantity surveying and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

• Manage project budgets and schedules.

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.

• Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to construction challenges.

• Ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations in the Maldives.

• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.

• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects.

• Proficiency in quantity surveying and preparing BOQs.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong understanding of construction materials and methods.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to relocate to the Maldives for an extended period.
