We are seeking a Senior IT Portfolio Manager to join our team. The role focuses on aligning digital solutions, IT services, projects, and programmes with organisational strategic objectives and business goals.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain a strategically balanced IT portfolio across run, grow and transform horizons.
Evaluate and prioritize portfolio components using weighted methods such as WSJF and Cost of Delay.
Manage resource capacity, allocation, and dependencies through portfolio Kanban and quarterly planning.
Collect and analyse portfolio performance against KPIs and OKRs, delivering automated dashboards and reports.
Oversee portfolio governance, risk registers, change control, and budget alignment.
Collaborate with solution, service, programme and project managers and other stakeholders.
Required qualifications
Minimum 15 years of IT professional experience.
15 years experience with project, programme and portfolio management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PM², PfMP).
10 years experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira.
10 years experience in IT Governance.
Experience with enterprise architecture modelling (BPMN/UML) and cost‑benefit analysis.
Nice to have
Hands‑on experience with GovIS2, Jira Align or equivalent PPM platforms.
Knowledge of COBIT and ITIL 4 frameworks.
Background in cybersecurity principles and IT asset protection.
Experience performing As‑Is/To‑Be and gap analyses.
