Job Specification: Performing PYQ analysis, listing test-wise topics and questions, making questions or allocating to freelancers, reviewing questions and their model answers, finalizing the paper in print-ready format. Evaluating and reviewing evaluated copies for quality.
Job Purpose: PSIR Optional & GS Content Creation & Review, Evaluation & Review of Evaluation
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Making/Reviewing Questions & Reviewing Evaluation related to Political Science & International Relations Optional & General Studies for UPSC Mains Examination.
Specific Knowledge & Skills
Strong command over political theory, Indian politics, comparative politics, and international relations.
Ability to integrate contemporary issues (global geopolitics, India’s foreign policy, constitutional governance).
Deep understanding of UPSC demand-based writing and conceptual clarity.
Given at least two UPSC Mains/one Interview.
Master’s in political science & international Relations preferred.
Major KRA
Identifying trends and analyzing UPSC PSIR optional paper pattern.
Identifying key themes and type of questions (thinkers + contemporary relevance).
Framing UPSC-level questions meeting syllabus and demand.
Preparing detailed answers using thinkers, quotations, current examples, and analytical structure.
Reviewing answers: enrichment, structure, demand fulfilment.
Proofreading: eliminating errors, improving expression, grammar correction.
Finalizing the paper: ensuring print-ready and online-ready format.
Reviewing evaluated copies to maintain evaluation standardization.
Qualification and Experience
Minimum Qualification
Should have written at least 2 UPSC CSE Mains with PSIR as optional.
Should have appeared for at least one interview in UPSC CSE.
Preferred/Additional Qualification
Subject experience of Political Science & International Relations.
Relevant/Additional Experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity, etc.
