Job Title: Acquisitions Associate
1. Overview:
The Acquisitions Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting the acquisition of properties and investments within the organization. The primary objective of this role is to identify, evaluate, and facilitate potential investment opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and contribute to the growth of the company's portfolio.
2. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify potential investment opportunities in real estate or other asset classes.
Assist in the due diligence process, including financial analysis, property inspections, and risk assessments.
Prepare detailed investment memoranda and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Liaise with various departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure a seamless acquisition process.
Maintain and update databases related to properties, contracts, and market trends.
Support senior team members in negotiating terms and conditions with sellers and stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze market trends to inform investment strategies and decisions.
3. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Familiarity with real estate databases and market analysis tools.
Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and acquisition software.
Understanding of investment acquisition processes and fundamentals.
4. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within real estate or investment firms.
A proven track record of successful project management and organizational skills.
5. Skills & Experience:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
