Put your academic expertise to work on projects that help improve how advanced AI systems understand and evaluate information across different fields.
We’re looking for strong junior and senior undergraduate students across academic disciplines to contribute to AI evaluation research. You’ll apply the knowledge you’ve developed through coursework, laboratory work, research, and independent study to evaluate, write, and validate content that requires genuine subject-matter expertise.
This is a remote, project-based opportunity designed to work around your academic schedule. Projects are asynchronous, and you can choose which assignments to take on. Each project typically requires up to 10 hours per week, giving you the flexibility to gain meaningful professional experience without disrupting your studies.
No prior AI experience is required. Your academic knowledge, analytical ability, and careful reasoning are what matter most.
Apply your academic and domain expertise to evaluate, write, and validate specialized content.
Assess materials for accuracy, depth, relevance, and overall quality from the perspective of someone trained in your discipline.
Identify errors, ambiguities, inconsistencies, or knowledge gaps that may be difficult for a generalist reviewer to recognize.
Provide clear, structured written explanations supporting your evaluation decisions.
Interpret visual and diagrammatic information relevant to your field.
Analyze materials such as schematics, spectra, maps, clinical images, artworks, charts, diagrams, or other discipline-specific visual content.
Complete defined annotation and evaluation tasks within each project window.
Apply consistent judgment and follow project-specific evaluation guidelines.
Currently enrolled as a junior or senior undergraduate student at a research-oriented university.
Strong academic standing in your chosen discipline.
Solid understanding of the technical vocabulary, concepts, and conventions used in your field.
Ability to produce clear, well-reasoned written explanations of specialized judgments.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Strong English writing proficiency.
Reliable internet access and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Availability for approximately 10 hours per week during project periods.

Strong academic performance within a competitive program.
Familiarity with AI tools, large language models, or multimodal AI systems.
Training in quantitative research methods, statistics, or data analysis.
Earn $50–$150/hour, depending on the discipline, experience, and project requirements.
Actual earnings depend on project availability and hours worked.
