About the Role

We are looking for experienced Product Designer Specialists with strong expertise in product design, design strategy, prototyping, design rationale, and analytical writing.

In this role, you will apply your product design experience to explain and document the reasoning behind design decisions, evaluate competing design solutions, analyze trade-offs, and translate complex design concepts into clear, structured written insights. Your work will contribute to training and evaluating next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world professional input.

No prior AI experience is required. Your product design expertise is what matters.

What You’ll Do

Design Analysis & Rationale

• Produce well-structured written analyses explaining product design decisions, rationale, and user impact.

• Evaluate design information and articulate the reasoning behind design choices.

• Explain design decisions with clarity, depth, and attention to user impact.

Trade-Off & Decision Analysis

• Evaluate and critique product and design information.

• Analyze trade-offs, constraints, and business context.

• Conduct comparative assessments of design solutions.

• Highlight key decision points and their implications for users and stakeholders.

• Apply critical thinking to ambiguous or evolving design contexts.

Design Documentation

• Draft, review, and refine design documentation and specifications.

• Produce detailed case studies focused on design reasoning and process.

• Document design approaches, decisions, and supporting rationale clearly.

Design Communication

• Translate complex design concepts and frameworks into accessible, reader-friendly language.

• Synthesize complex information into clear and actionable written outputs.

• Communicate design reasoning effectively for audiences with different levels of technical knowledge.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with project stakeholders through asynchronous communication channels.

• Clarify requirements and align on expected deliverables.

• Communicate design analysis and reasoning clearly throughout the project.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of end-to-end product design experience, ideally across web or mobile platforms.

• Demonstrated expertise in design strategy, prototyping, particularly Figma, and articulating design rationale.

• Proven experience drafting design documentation, specifications, critiques, or detailed case studies as part of previous projects.

• Exceptional analytical writing skills with the ability to synthesize information and communicate it effectively.

• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to conduct thorough trade-off analysis in ambiguous or evolving contexts.

• Professional-level written English.

• Familiarity with writing for non-technical audiences is advantageous.

• Background from leading universities or renowned organizations is a strong plus.
