Human Resources Expert – AI Evaluation & Subject-Matter Expert

About the Role

Put your human resources expertise to work on projects that help improve how advanced AI systems understand and apply real-world HR principles.

We’re looking for experienced Human Resources Experts to create, evaluate, and refine HR management challenges used in AI evaluation and training. You’ll apply your practical knowledge across recruitment, employee relations, talent management, compensation, performance management, and HR compliance to develop scenarios that test whether AI systems can reason through complex workplace situations accurately and effectively.

This is a remote, flexible, asynchronous opportunity that allows you to apply your HR expertise to innovative AI projects while working around your existing professional commitments.

What You’ll Do

• Develop high-quality HR questions, scenarios, and case studies that challenge AI models across key areas of human resources.

• Create realistic challenges covering topics such as recruitment strategy, interviewing, performance evaluation, conflict resolution, compensation planning, employment compliance, onboarding, and talent management.

• Evaluate and validate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, practical application, and alignment with HR best practices.

• Identify errors, gaps, inconsistencies, or inappropriate recommendations in AI-generated HR content.

• Provide detailed, structured feedback explaining why responses are accurate or where improvements are needed.

• Apply your understanding of employment regulations and HR practices when evaluating model responses.

• Collaborate with HR and technical experts to refine question difficulty and ensure content is challenging, accurate, and educational.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience working in human resources with strong knowledge across key HR functions.

• Practical understanding of recruitment, employee relations, compensation, performance management, and HR compliance.

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle errors or gaps in HR-related content.

• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multiple years of professional HR experience across diverse HR functions.

• Experience in areas such as talent acquisition, performance management, benefits administration, HRIS, or related HR disciplines.

• Experience developing HR training programs or educational content.

• Experience with HR policy development or workplace policy interpretation.

• Previous involvement in HR technology initiatives.

• Professional certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.

• Familiarity with AI tools or technology-driven HR applications.
