About the Role

We are looking for 3D design professionals with 1–3 years of experience using Blender for a remote, project-based opportunity.

You will work on tasks similar to those found across 3D modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, and visualization. Projects are assigned on a project-by-project basis and completed asynchronously over the next 2–3 weeks, with an expected commitment of 10–20 hours per week for the projects you accept.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver 3D assets using Blender and industry-standard tools.

• Work on 3D design and production projects across relevant modeling, texturing, rendering, animation, or visualization tasks.

• Document workflows, scene setups, and asset creation pipelines.

• Collaborate asynchronously on 3D design and production projects.

• Troubleshoot rendering issues, optimization challenges, and technical problems.

• Resolve technical and creative challenges independently while delivering project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in 3D design, modeling, animation, or related fields.

• Strong proficiency in Blender.

• Experience with one or more of the following:

  • Hard surface modeling

  • Organic modeling

  • Texturing and UV mapping

  • Lighting and rendering using Cycles or Eevee

  • Animation

  • Procedural workflows

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts, Animation, Game Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience and portfolio.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently on both technical and creative tasks.

• Ability to work effectively in an asynchronous, remote environment.

Project & Schedule

The work is remote, asynchronous, and project-based, with projects expected to run over the next 2–3 weeks.

You will be expected to commit approximately 10–20 hours per week for the projects you accept, while maintaining the flexibility to organize your working hours around your schedule.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a capable 3D designer with practical Blender experience and a strong eye for both technical execution and creative detail.

You should be comfortable creating 3D assets, working with different aspects of the 3D production process, troubleshooting technical challenges, documenting your workflows, and independently completing project-based assignments.
