1. Overview:

The Executive Accounts role is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

2. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall accounting function, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement), analyze financial data, and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Oversee the company's budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including credit control, collections, and vendor relations
  • Prepare and file tax returns, manage tax payments, and comply with relevant tax regulations
  • Provide financial analysis, modeling, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the alignment of financial operations with business objectives

3. Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with tax laws and regulations
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting

4. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional credential highly desirable
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role
