Purpose of the Role:
The Finance controller position functions as a business partner with the concerned function and financial management to effectively manage and control the operations.
Principal Accountabilities
Manage all accounting operations including Inventory/Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition
Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site
Analyze variances and communicate explanations to management with recommended actions
Prepare forecasts of income statement and statement of cash flows for the plants
Monitors achievement of Conversion Cost productivity targets.
Must work across organization boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve ISC metrics
Monitor goods in transit and post month end entries with regard to inventory
Maintain and manage fixed assets register
Handling Statutory, Tax and Internal Audits
Providing support for Direct and Indirect Tax Assessments
Other activities entrusted by management on a time to time basis.
Working knowledge of SAP.
