Primary Job Responsibilities

• Content Strategy: Develop a comprehensive content strategy for Drishti IAS English YouTube channel.

• Ensure the content aligns with the latest syllabus and exam trends.

• Content Creation: Write compelling, engaging, and educational content for both long-form and short-form videos.

• Focus on simplifying complex topics and making them accessible to a wide audience.

• Research: Stay updated with the latest UPSC trends, news, and developments.

• Create content that is accurate, current, and relevant for UPSC aspirants.

• Content Calendar: Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent delivery of videos

• SEO Optimization: Apply YouTube SEO strategies to optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails to enhance search visibility and ranking on the platform.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Graphic Designing and Video Editing Teams to ensure the production of compelling video content, thumbnails, titles, and other visual elements.

• Audience Engagement: Monitor and respond to viewer comments and feedback to enhance the viewer experience.

• Use feedback to improve content and grow the audience base.

• AI and Tools: Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity AI, and Hailuo for content creation, image generation, and content optimization. Use Canva for basic design work and video editing tools like Filmora for video creation.

Specific Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in YouTube SEO and YouTube Analytics.

• Strong command over written English and Hindi.

• Proven experience with content writing and copywriting.

• In-depth understanding of AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity AI, and Hailuo for content and image creation.

• Experience in creating both long-form and short-form video content.

• Proficiency in basic video editing using tools such as Canva and Filmora.

• Strong grasp of the UPSC syllabus and exam trends.

• Knowledge of video production processes and collaborating across different departments

• Excellent research, writing, and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
