Job Specification: Translation of content from English to Marathi and Vice Versa, ensuring accurate use of subject-specific terminology and keywords in Marathi, while maintaining
precise, contextually faithful, and near word-to-word alignment with the original English content.
Job Purpose: To accurately translate and adapt content from English to Marathi, ensuring linguistic precision, correct usage of Marathi terminology and keywords, contextual fidelity to the original content,
and alignment with exam-oriented standards and requirements for Maharashtra State PCS.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
· Translate academic and MPSC exam-oriented content accurately from English to Marathi, ensuring contextual fidelity and linguistic precision.
· Maintain word-to-word accuracy wherever required, while preserving the meaning, tone, and intent of the original English content.
· Ensure correct usage of Marathi terminology, subject-specific keywords, and exam-relevant vocabulary/keywords aligned with Maharashtra State PCS standards.
· Adapt translated content to suit the Marathi medium audience, ensuring clarity, readability, and natural language flow.
· Review translated content for grammar, consistency, factual accuracy, and linguistic quality before finalization.
· Translate and review content of Prelims, Mains, PYQs, model answers, and explanatory content in print-ready and digital-ready formats.
· Support the preparation of exam-oriented study materials by ensuring accurate and standardized Marathi translations for effective student learning.
Specific Knowledge & Skills
· Strong proficiency in English and Marathi languages
· Familiarity with MPSC syllabus, exam pattern, and state-specific terminology
· Excellent command over grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure in both languages
· Ability to translate accurately from English to Marathi with contextual fidelity
· Strong understanding of Marathi terminology and subject-specific keywords
· Ability to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality in translated content

Qualification and Experience
Minimum Qualification Graduation in any discipline.
Preferred/Additional Qualification · Minimum Secondary School Certificate (10th) Passed with Marathi as one of the Subjects
Graduation in any discipline (Humanities preferred).
Minimum Experience · Experience in Maharashtra State PCS/UPSC content creation/translation preferred.
Appeared in Maharashtra State PCS/UPSC mains or Interview exams is an added advantage.
