Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative and talented Thumbnail Designer to join our team on freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in graphic design, particularly in creating eye-catching thumbnails for videos, social media, and websites. The Thumbnail Designer will play a crucial role in improving our content engagement by designing visually appealing, high-quality thumbnails that grab attention and drive clicks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thumbnail Design: Create visually stunning and effective thumbnails for  YouTube videos.

• Concept Development: Understand the content and target audience, ensuring thumbnails align with the brand identity and content goals.

• Visual Optimization: Design thumbnails that are optimized for various platforms, ensuring they are visually appealing on both desktop and mobile devices.

• Brand Consistency: Ensure thumbnails maintain consistent visual style and tone across all media, adhering to the brand’s guidelines.

• Trends & Creativity: Stay updated on design trends, platform algorithms, and audience preferences to create thumbnails that are trendy and relevant.

• Fast Turnaround: Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines while maintaining the quality and integrity of the designs.

• A/B Testing: Occasionally participate in A/B testing of thumbnails to gauge performance and make improvements for future designs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a focus on digital media and thumbnail design (portfolio required).

• Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other relevant design software.

• Strong understanding of design principles such as composition, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

• Knowledge of social media platforms and video-sharing sites (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) and how thumbnails impact engagement.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Detail-oriented, creative, and able to adapt to varying content styles.

Interview Process:

Our interview process for the Thumbnail Designer role will be based on a sample work evaluation to assess your skills and creativity. The process will be as follows:
