1. Overview:
The Customer Care Intern will provide support to the Customer Care team, gaining valuable experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and contributing to a positive customer experience. The primary objective is to learn and apply customer service best practices while assisting with daily operational tasks. This is a paid internship opportunity.
2. Key Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
Assist in processing returns and exchanges.
Update customer information in the company's CRM system.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of customer service documentation.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Track and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Learn and understand company products and services.
3. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with CRM software (specific software mentioned if applicable, e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) is a plus but not required.
Basic understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for customer service purposes.
4. Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Communications).
Strong academic record.
Availability to work a minimum for 3 months.
5. Skills & Experience:
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Strong active listening skills are essential.
Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Demonstrated competency in using Word, Excel, and Outlook for tasks such as document creation, data entry, and email management.
Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members in a fast-paced environment.
Customer Service Orientation: A genuine desire to provide exceptional customer service and create positive customer experiences.
Previous customer service experience (e.g., retail, food service) is a plus but not required.
