To support their growing operational and infrastructure needs, we’re looking for a full-time IT Tech Lead to join their Vancouver-based team in a hybrid capacity.

Position Overview:

As the IT Tech Lead, you’ll take on a hybrid role that combines leadership, systems support, security oversight, and technical collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is a non-traditional role where you’ll handle everything from resolving support tickets to onboarding new creative staff, building machines, and supporting infrastructure and security efforts.

This opportunity is ideal for a versatile, hands-on leader who thrives in a creative, tech-driven environment and enjoys working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Operations, Support & Security, Creative Enablement, Infrastructure Oversight

  • Act as the lead technical resource for internal IT operations, reporting directly to client-side leadership

  • Resolve Tier 2 system administration and Tier 3 infrastructure/security support tickets

  • Manage endpoint systems, user accounts, security protocols, and access controls across Windows/macOS environments

  • Build, configure, and deploy machines for onboarding new hires, especially artists, designers, and engineers

  • Partner with creative and technical teams to support proof-of-concept builds and toolset testing

  • Maintain cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including IAM, backups, monitoring, and compliance

  • Monitor network health, performance, and endpoint protection systems

  • Own IT documentation, asset inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships

  • Assist with broader IT strategy, policy development, and scaling internal systems

  • Mentor junior IT or support team members as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 5+ years in IT operations or tech leadership roles, ideally in creative, digital, or production environments

  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure, endpoint management, and enterprise IT systems

  • Familiarity with creative production environments, pipelines, and POC development

  • Hands-on experience with ticketing systems, MDM tools, and security frameworks

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Comfortable balancing long-term strategy with immediate hands-on tasks

  • Must be located in Vancouver and available for hybrid work from the client’s downtown office

Why This Role?

  • Join a highly creative, tech-forward organization through Collavion

  • Hybrid flexibility with a vibrant downtown Vancouver team

  • Hands-on leadership role with variety and real impact

  • Support high-performing creative and technical teams in a fast-evolving environment

  • Competitive full-time opportunity with long-term potential
