Position Overview:
As a Business Development Representative at Collavion, you will be a key player in growing our client base. You’ll engage directly with decision-makers in target industries, uncover hiring needs, and position Collavion as their go-to talent sourcing partner. This role blends sales, client relationship management, and strategic consulting, ideal for someone who’s passionate about people, solutions, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Growth, Client Engagement & Relationship Management, Solution Selling, Collaboration & Strategy, Reporting & Metrics.
Identify and engage new clients across North America
Conduct outreach via calls and emails to generate leads
Cold-calling across different time zones, approx. 40-60 calls per day
Understand client hiring needs and provide consultative talent solutions
Collaborate with internal recruiters to ensure delivery success
Maintain pipelines, proposals, and performance metrics
Preferred Qualification:
1-2 years of sales or business development experience in technology or recruitment firm would be ideal
Proven Qualification with bachelors/master’s degree in business courses
Experience in sales, client-facing roles, business development, account management preferably for staffing industry, talent services or in recruitment
A strong communicator with a client-first mindset
Self-starter who thrives in a flexible, fast-moving environment
Familiarity with ATS, recruitment processes or CRM tools is a plus
