Overview:

The Azure IoT position is designed for a skilled professional who will play a crucial role in developing and managing IoT solutions in the Azure cloud environment. The primary objective of this role is to integrate various IoT devices and systems, ensuring seamless communication and data flow while optimizing performance and security. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and implement effective IoT strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy IoT solutions using Azure IoT services.
  • Implement data ingestion, processing, and analysis to derive meaningful insights from IoT device data.
  • Manage and monitor device connectivity, reliability, and performance through Azure monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to build APIs and integrate with existing systems and applications.
  • Ensure security practices are followed in the implementation of IoT solutions, including device authentication and data encryption.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members regarding Azure IoT best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in IoT and Azure services to identify opportunities for innovation.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Azure IoT services such as Azure IoT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Functions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture.
  • Experience in developing applications using .NET technologies.
  • Familiarity with front-end development frameworks, specifically Angular.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance of IoT applications and infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IoT development and deployment, specifically within Azure.
  • Relevant certifications in Azure cloud services or IoT technologies are a plus.

Skills & Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Azure ecosystem and services related to IoT.
  • Proficiency in .NET development including ASP.NET for building web applications.
  • Experience with Angular for creating responsive user interfaces in IoT applications.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including automation of deployment processes and infrastructure as code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
